About Me

I’m Amanda Kennedy, a user researcher and designer on a mission to improve government service delivery. Currently, I am a designer and researcher at Nava, a public benefit corporation improving digital services for local, state, and federal government.
I have experience designing services related to mental health, government, and financial literacy. I care about designing services that are easy to understand and use and that foster civic engagement. I previously led user research at Addapp, a digital health startup, and Lanternalia, my user research and content design consultancy. I graduated in 2019 from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Human-Computer Interaction.
