About Me
I am a service designer and design lead at 18F a unit within the General Services Administration that partners with fellow government agencies to build, buy, and share technology modernization projects. Previously, I was a designer at Nava, a public benefit corporation improving digital services for local, state, and federal government. My work at Nava used service design to implement cloud technology at scale across a large federal government agency to better serve its workforce and 149 million beneficiaries, and to implement service improvements for a state's paid family and medical leave program.
I care about designing services that are easy to understand and use and that foster civic engagement. I previously led user research at Addapp, a digital health startup, and Lanternalia, my user research and content design consultancy. I graduated in 2019 from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Human-Computer Interaction.
